A solar system is a 25-year asset bolted to your roof. We design around your real electricity use, your roof’s orientation and shading, and the gear that lasts: quality panels, a reputable inverter, ArcBox protection on every man-made MC4, and proper PV cable.

You get a documented design before anything is fitted, not a number scribbled at the kitchen table.

The connectors crimped on the roof are the part that fails first across the UK installed base, which is why we seal every man-made MC4 in an ArcBox enclosure. Where the cable run permits, we use PV Ultra cable rated for the full design life. These are engineering choices, made because they last, and we set them out in writing so you can see what you are paying for.

It is the same engineering approach we bring to commercial solar over 50 kWp, and it pairs with retrofit battery storage when you want to keep more of what you generate.

03 What it costs and what it saves

In Yorkshire a typical home system generates a little below the UK average per kW. We model your real generation and savings honestly rather than quoting a best-case brochure figure. You see the working before you commit, and the price you are quoted is the price you pay.

05 Smart tariffs

Once you’re generating and storing, a smart tariff does the rest, charging cheaply overnight and rewarding you for using your own power. Intelligent Octopus Go and Cosy are the ones to look at in 2026; Flux has closed to new customers.

The right tariff depends on your usage pattern, whether you have a battery, and whether you run an EV. We’ll point you to the one that fits your setup.
